We work from our homes, all over Great Britain. Almost all our work is done on PCs and we emboss it ourselves at our Birmingham 'HQ'. We can produce braille from print, diskette and the internet. We can usually cope with a few simple diagrams. We can provide double or single-sided braille, on either A4 or 'standard' paper, and we use plastic comb binding for anything bigger than a few sheets.
We have a scanner and braille translation software, (RNIB's ChiWriter, plus BrailleMaker Express and MegaDots) but we have all taken the RNIB proficiency test, and we proof-read and check all our work to make sure it's up to standard. ( For more detail on what we mean by 'standard', click here )
